Landfill restoration
This multi-step process takes hazardous land and turns it into beautiful, recreational areas. It helps minimise long-term impact and damage to the environment—while returning the land to the community.
Earthworks
This process is necessary to get a site ready for construction. Each site is prepared to ensure a firm and safe foundation on which to build up or around. Our deep understanding of earthworks design and construction, terrain variances, external influences, and more allows us to safely and successfully conduct our work to Hong Kong standards while avoiding costly issues or concerns.
Landscaping works
Our landscape specialists, certified irrigation designers, and arborists bring years of experience to every project.
We are fully prepared to handle a variety of landscaping needs; from design and construction—to maintenance.
Liner Installation
With our clients’ vision in mind, our skilled liner technicians install a multi-layer geomembrane down the slopes and across the base of the landfill.
Designed in-house, the impermeable liner system combines with compacted clay, soil, and geotextile fabric to prevent hazardous leaks and odours from permeating soil, particularly the groundwater.
Drainage System
We supply and install a variety of drainage options, including netlon drains, precast concrete baffle pipes, cast and construction concrete drains, and leachate collection systems.
We excavate the trenches of the top layer and build collection ponds to ensure proper transport and disposal.
HDPE Gas Collection System
We supply and embed a series of gas pipes and wellhead connections within the landfill to collect gas waste.
This reduces odours and limits the release of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.
Covering or Final Cap
We use sediment to fill any gaps in the landfill, otherwise known as deposition. We then spread and form slopes to help create a strong base on which to add the final layer of soil.
Finally, we compact the area, triming any left-over material, and resurface the landbank to complete the formation.
Site Clearance
We protect useful resources by temporarily storing them or utilising nurseries. We then clear all unwanted materials before construction begins.
We removed unwanted machinery or equipment, surplus materials, rubbish, vegetation, and surface soil. We're careful and meticulous when it comes to preparing sites for future construction works.
Cutting & filling
Moving earth from one place to the next, cutting and filling helps sculpt sloped sites. We cut into the land and place it in the space that needs filling, before resurfacing, to match the desired height and contour.
This process requires sorting, collecting, transporting, and unloading of the required materials.
Levelling and Grading
We have strategically invested in the right specialised heavy equipment to level the soil on a site.
Grading manages the flow of water while levelling flattens out the land to the desired measurements. These processes help us to control runoff and erosion more effectively.
Land Surveying
Our reliable and outstanding surveyor teams have a fascinating mix of legal knowledge, fieldwork, and experience with technical challenges.
This allows us to plan structures accurately and safely and ensure structures, shapes, and buildings not only fit the landscape—but can be constructed per schedule with resource estimations.
Design and Construction
The foundation of any landscape is critical to its success. We install liner systems in rivers and lakes, and working with stone to begin making any vision come to life.
Our expertise lies in the construction of plant nurseries and bridges as well as the design of fences, gates, walkways, paths, and more.
Shrubs and Trees
We take time to select the right grass and plants, doing all the necessary preparation work, from excavating and backfilling to staking and fertilising.
We supply and install a biodegradable erosion control mat as well as an irrigation system to make the maintenance phase easier. We then plant and propagate trees and plants as per the plan and design.
Maintenance
Our pride in our work goes far beyond design and implementation. We are on hand to supply year-round maintenance support in all of its forms, from irrigation system care and repair to a long list of upkeep activities, including fertilising, watering, insect and pest control, litter removal, stone replacement, re-grassing, securing and adjusting stakes, replacing and replanting as necessary.
